PETIT MOTIF'S MOCHA MOOLATTE As 2009 draws to a close, backward reflection
shows a year that had the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. It was truly a a bittersweet year with many blessings
and tragedies.
First, we lost our beautiful girls Ch Petit Motif Mocha Moolatte ('Mocha') and Ch Petit Motif Irma
La Douce ('Freckles'). Two beautiful girls gone to the Rainbow Bridge much too soon. Next, we welcomed four
beautiful litters, a total of 15 puppies. The oldest of these are almost ten months old, and several
are already appearing in the show rings, and some are well along in attaining their AKC championships.
In the show ring, four Petit Motif French Bulldogs, ('Garcon', 'Diamond' 'Missy' and 'Tara') achieved their AKC
championships. Several ('Doc', 'Ozzie' and 'TJ') are just a win away from finishing too. Hopefully, 2010 will
be the year for their success.
Petit Motif received a tremendous honor at the French Bulldog Club of
America National Specialty show in Boston where she won Best of Opposite Sex under judge Patricia Sosa.
Finally, a Petit Motif French Bulldog living in difficult circumstances was rescued and has returned home to a
happier life.
Thus, a typical year. Some good - some bad - some ugly. Overall I guess
there is no reason to complain.
To all of the friends of French Bulldogs in general, and Petit Motif in particular,
Happy Holidays! May the new year bring us all good health, happiness, and the love of our Frenchies.
